LCD monitors in the market, but how to know which to buy?
Here are just some tips which you would like to reconsider before purchasing one.
1) Screen Size
2) Type of Resolution (1680x1050),
3) Contrast ratio (more than 800:1 at least)
3) Refresh Rate
4) Wide Screen or Standard Screen Type
5) DVI Port, VGA Port,Component Port,Composite Port, S-video port ,HDMI Interface(NEW) & DisplayPort(NEW)
6) Warranty - 3 years minimum
When evaluating the LCD however, do ensure that it does not give you a visual flicker problem.
Visual flicker occurs when you stare at the LCD for too long and thus cause the eye to be tired. You will see lines and sometimes may even cause a temporal blindness.
Do rest your eyes by looking at something else which is at a distance or you may also stares at something greenery such as the plant leaves so as not to further spoil your eyesight.
